Tastefully Simple Savory Peach Brandy Glazed Chicken with Fresh Asparagus

I would first like to thank Tina Dodson, our official Tastefully Simple Consultant for sending the Tastefully Simple Savory Peach Brandy Glaze to me to try!  It was SOOOOO delicious! My whole family gobbled their plates and it left us feeling like we had a super healthy and flavorful meal.

Now, let me tell you how super simple this was to make!  It took me no time at all to slice up the chicken, sprinkle it with some spices, pour the sauce on it, mix it up and set it to cook!  This could easily be done the night before and then stuck in the fridge for the next morning.  This is definitely something you should keep in your pantry for those really busy days when you literally have no time at all to put something together.

I cooked my asparagus the last hour right on top of my meat.  If you're in a hurry, just steam it on the stove right when you get home from work.  It will still taste good!

Tastefully Simple Savory Peach Brandy Glazed Chicken
with Fresh Asparagus

Ingredients: (Makes 4-6 servings)
2 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken cut into 1.5-2" long strips
1/2 cup Tastefully Simple Savory Peach Brandy Glaze
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Garlic Powder

1 Bunch Asparagus, washed and chopped into 1/2" pieces
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Rice to serve your chicken over.

Directions:
Place your chicken in the bottom of your crock and sprinkle with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
(I used a 2.5 Quart Crock for this)

Pour the Savory Peach Brandy Glaze over the top.

Stir it up.

Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
The last hour, add the asparagus and the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
Turn your slow cooker to HIGH if it's not already there.

Serve over rice and enjoy!
