Mini-Holiday Gift Guide - For the Whole Family!

Tis the season for giving, right?  I mean, Halloween is just around the corner, but most of us are already thinking about and planning gifts for the Holidays to come.

So, I thought I'd take some of the worry away by sharing a few neat products with you.  There are options below for mom, dad, the kids, aunt and uncles, grandparents...the whole fandamily!

The Kids

 KidDesigns Frozen Magical MP3 Microphone
If you have a FROZEN fan in the house, this is a must-have!  You can use it as just a plain microphone, you can sing a long to the pre-recorded music, or you can plug it into any mp3 device and sing a long with any of your favorite tunes!  My daughter hasn't put it down since it came and when she does, my son picks it right up! You can purchase it here.

Delta Children Cars Deluxe Upholstered Chair

Any little boy in your life would LOVE this chair!  My little guy is 3 and he has been in heaven ever since setting eyes on this chair!  It looks like Mater and Lightening McQueen rolled into one, which is the best part about this chair in my son's opinion.  It's well-made and a nice comfy cozy place for your little one to curl up in and read a book, or watch their favorite TV show or movie.  You can purchase it here

Fashion Delightful Dollhouse
This colorful dollhouse is a HUGE hit in our house!  This dollhouse is around 4 feet tall and has lots of rooms for your little one to play with!  Ella's not so much into Barbie dolls, but this house works for any little friends....like Pooh Bear and Strawberry Shortcake!  The dollhouse is fairly easy to assemble and will provide hours of fun!  For the full review and where you can purchase this product, please visit week99er.com

LeapFrog LeapBand
I have to tell you, this device is ADORABLE!  It hasn't left Gavin's side since he received it!  The LeapBand is an interactive fitness band that helps active kids stay active and can help spark that activeness waiting to get out of your child!  It's customizable, parental controlled and water resistant!  For a full review on the LeapBand and for information on where to purchase this product, please visit week99er.com

The Adults

 Proper Pillow
I've been sleeping on this pillow for about a month now.  I'm LOVING it!  It's firm, but yet conforms to help keep your head and neck in the proper position when you sleep so you don't wake up with kinks.  This amazing pillow is washable and dry-able, which keeps it hypoallergenic.  You can purchase the Proper Pillow here.

My Charge Energy Shot
How about grabbing a handy little USB charger as a stylish and useful stocking stuffer!  This little guys packs a lot of punch, with adding up to 9 more hours of talk time!  For the full review and where to purchase this, please visit week99er.com

West Loop Travel Mugs

I know from experience the West Loop travel mugs are the best, as we've used a lot of different brands in this house.  These guys can keep your beverages hot for up to 5 hours, or cold for up to 12 hours.  For a full review and where to purchase these, please visit week99er.com

Beados Review - TONS of creative fun for the kids!

When Beados contacted me to review this product, I KNEW my daughter would love it!
Remember those little beads we used to play with that we would shape into something, cover in wax paper, then have our mom iron it for us until it melted?  Remember your mom cursing under her breath because she would get wax on her iron?  Yeah....I remember that!  LOL

GONE are the days of ironing those beads!  Beados has come up with a heat-free alternative!  All you do, is spray them with water and let it dry!

In the box, you get 3 templates to work with.  Each template has 2 sides, so there are a total of 6 (7 really if you count the one template with the sundae and fish as 2.)

You pick a template and place it on a purple plastic disc (comes with 2 - which is great when you have 2 friends or two kids.)

In the box, there is a bead holder so you can separate all the beads into different bins by color.   The set also comes with a bead "picker-upper." Ella used it for a while, but found her fingers more effective and quicker.

When you have all the beads in place, you take the cute little water bottle and spray your art.

You then place it under the battery-operated fan to dry!

When it's dry, you simply peel it off the purple disc!  And voila!!!  You have happy kids!!

You can find beados at www.beadosbeads.com

KidzCanDesign #Review

Ever looked at your child's beautiful artwork and wished you could make it last forever?  Now you can!  KidzCanDesign takes your child's artwork and makes it into beautiful high quality sterling silver jewelry!

I'm going to get right to it!  Here is the picture of both my kids' hands they made during their last couple months at daycare together!  Isn't it beautiful?  I love seeing their little hands side by side.

KidzCanDesign turned this beautiful artwork into a gorgeous necklace I can wear forever!
I can't wait to show it off!

Isn't that so special?!  This would make a great Christmas present for a grandma, aunt, mom, child, or even a fabulous birthday or Mother's Day gift!

It's easy to do!  First, you decide what picture you would like to turn into jewelry.  Second, you scan the picture.  Third, you design your jelwelry on kidzcandesign.com.  Pretty simple, right?

You can find out more about KidzCanDesign on their website.
You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Delta Children "Cars" Table and Chairs #Review

Delta Children makes SO many fun furniture pieces your little ones will absolutely love!  Chances are, you've already seen many of these great products in the store already.
Delta Children was kind enough to send us this adorable Cars Table and 2 Chair Set.

It came very well protected in this box.

It was VERY simple to put together.  In fact, Gavin (2.5) and I put it together in about 8 minutes.  Most of that time was spent just keeping him from getting the little Styrofoam pieces all over the living room.

He was so proud of himself!  As soon as we were done, he sat down for a nice snack at his new table!

The table has since found it's place in Gavin's room!  He absolutely loves it!

This Cars Table and Chair Set is the perfect table and chair set for your little guy. The Cars Table and Chair Set is built with a sturdy durable frame making it the perfect chair for playing, studying and relaxing.
Available at Walmart.com

*Disclosure: I was given this table and chairs set in exchange for my review.  All opinions expressed here are entirely my own and may differ from others'.

Fashion Angels #Review and #Giveaway

Do you know a very creative little girl?  Well, I do, and chances are you do too!  Fashion Angels has SO many options for the creative little girl in your life....of all ages.

I received 3 items to review.  The first one, The Tapefitti, my daughter wanted to dig into right away!
She immediately got to work designing an outfit.
It comes with everything you need, including LOTS of different colored/patterned tapes and even a cutter for the tape.

It comes with lots of patterns for you to design on, but the first time my daughter didn't wait for instructions from me and designed right on top of the Manikin that comes with this set.

Here is the dress she designed using one of the provided patterns.
and the back.

The second item above was the Safety Pin Bracelet Kit.
This was such a HUGE success in my house, that there was very little I had left to take pictures of!  LOL  Ella gave most of the pins she made away before I could take pictures.  Here are some samples of some things I pulled out of her room.  She had a TON of fun making these, and more importantly, sharing them with others!

Lastly, we were given the Doodles Friffonages Bocetos Notebook.  It has 60 pages of things to design, like shoes, purses and dresses.  There is so much more!  If you have a budding designer on your hands, then this is for her!!!!  Ella has just scratched the surface.

You can find MANY more Fashion Angels products at Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, Learning Express, Wal-greens, Amazon.com, and Kohls.com

Now, ready for some REALLY good news?!  You can enter for a chance to win all 3 of these great items!  Stash them away for Christmas gifts if you want!
You must enter through the giveaway tool below.  The chosen winner will have 48 hours to respond to my email to claim their prize or a new winner will be chosen.  Good luck!

Jake's Neverland Shapes and Patterns App #Review

Does your little one love Jake and the Neverland Pirates as much as both my little one's do?
Yay hey, no way!
The new Jake's Neverland Shapes and Pattern app, available in the iTunes store, is SO much fun for your kiddos!  My daughter is in Kindergarten and it reinforces a lot of the concepts they are working on in school.

Instead of telling you all of Ella's favorite parts, I thought I'd let her tell you  and show you herself!

As you can see, this is a very colorful, fun, interactive and educational game for children.  There was another video clip I wanted to show you where they use their fingers to trace shapes, but as life would have it, my 2 year old decided to do something dangerous at that moment and I went all "crazy worried mommy" during the recording.  LOL  So.....that one shall stay in the archives.  ;)

"Designed for kids ages 4 and up, Jake’s Never Land Shapes and Patterns features three leveled curriculum activities that support shape and pattern identification. Kids can match shapes, complete patterns, and trace their way to treasure - all while Captain Hook is hot on their trail!"

Additional features include:
· Collectible gold doubloons and personalized pirate puppets
· Delightful animation and interactive surprises
· Character voices from the popular Disney Junior show
· Engaging narration and exciting sound effects and music

Jake's Never Land Shapes and Patterns is now available in the Education and Kids categories of the App Store. Find it here.

I highly suggest purchasing this app for your child!  It's worth every penny!

*Disclosure: I was gifted this app in exchange for my review.  All opinions expressed here are entirely my own and may differ from others'.
