Kickin' Beans

I love when I just throw a bunch of stuff in my crock and see what happens!  I love it even more when what I "throw in" turns out to be delicious!  This was one of those times!

I call these "Kickin' Beans" because they have a kick and they were awesome!  SOOOOO much flavor, with simple, healthy ingredients, most of you probably have around your house!  I served mine with Barbecue Chicken, but these would be great with burgers!  They are all around, just plain delicious!!!!!!!

These would be great at a party, or as part of your family dinner!

Kickin' Beans

Ingredients:
1.5-2 (15.5 oz) cans Northern Beans, drained
1/2-1 (15.5 oz) can Black beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup chopped tomato (1 large tomato)
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 banana pepper, seeded and minced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
2 tsp. garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions: (I used a 2 Quart Crock)
Place your beans in your crock. (I had half a can of northern and black beans frozen in a bag, so that's what that chunk is, LOL!)

Add the tomatoes, onions,
banana pepper,
minced garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil and lemon juice.

Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
ENJOY!
