Beef and Barley Stew - Featuring Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes

My husband and I have declared this Stew "DELICIOUS!"  No, seriously.  It was scrumptious!  It really all has to do with the Savory Beef Stew Crock-Pot Seasoning Mix!  I honestly just threw in a bunch of yummy vegetables, some beef, a couple packets of the Savory Beef Stew Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes and some water.  Sounds easy, right?!  No joke, it is!

All in all, this stew took me 20 minutes to prepare before I left for work (this was pre-new refrigerator and I had NO room for my crock overnight in there!)  As always, it will probably take you less time because you don't have to stop to take pictures! ;)  In the end, we came home to a wonderfully flavorful and healthy dinner!

1 small onion, minced
3 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup baby bella mushrooms, sliced
1 cup frozen green beans
1.5-1.75 lb. Beef Stew Meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup pearl barley
2 pkgs. Hearty Beef Stew Crock-Pot Seasoning Mix
6-7 cups Water

Directions: (You will need a 5  Quart or larger Slow Cooker for this)
 In the bottom of your crock, place the onions, carrots, celery, mushrooms and green beans.
Place the stew meat on top of that.
Add the barley on top of that.
Lastly, dump in the 2 seasoning packets and the water.  Add enough water to just cover all the contents.
Cook on LOW for 8-10 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours.
